4 Application technology
4.1 Appliance properties
The controller is equipped with an illuminated, graphic display.
Plain text is used in the display for easy user guidance.
Different target room temperatures are set for the heating and set-back phases.
Daily heat-up times can also be specified for hot water generation.
When installing the controller, the competent person will set it for use either with two
independent heating circuits, e.g. in single-occupancy houses and self-contained flats,
or with two heating circuits, e.g. for radiators and underfloor heating.
The controller has two selection buttons and a rotary knob. Both selection buttons have
a soft key function. The function changes depending on your location in the program
structure and which entry is selected.
The installation assistant will guide you through the configuration process both during
initial start-up of the controller and after performing controller resets.
User-group-specific parameters are combined at separate menu levels. Settings for the
code level cannot be made until after an enabling code has been entered.
