4.4.2.8 Default setting
The factory settings can be reset at two levels:
Time programmes
Everything
If "everything" has been selected, the controller
starts by searching for eBUS system components.
After resetting to the default setting, the controller automatically calls up the installation
assistant. The settings to be applied here are described in Section 5 "Installation and
start-up".
4.5 Higher-level control functions
Before the display and setting parameters of the installer level are explained, here is
an overview of the generally applicable controller functions.
4.5.1 Automatic configuration
Once the controller is supplied with power at the eBUS connection, it scans the
eBUS and automatically finds all eBUS components connected. This process is re-
peated every 10 minutes.
Certain menu levels, parameters and information are only displayed once the rele-
vant accessory items are detected.
If an accessory is detected but cannot be reached after 15 minutes, an error mes-
sage is displayed.
If other components are installed, such as a heat pump or a VR 70, these must be
switched on first and their installation assistants run before switching on the control-
ler.
All eBUS components must be started up and their installation assistants run
first. In order to detect items properly and carry out the resultant presettings,
the eBUS controller must be the last control component to be switched on.
