3 Planning and dimensioning
3.1 Planning requirements
3.1.1 Installation locations
● Hanging on an interior wall in the living area.
● Alternative: Installation in the boiler's electronics box
Hanging the controller on the wall: The controller should be installed in a place
where it can accurately detect the room temperature; for example on an internal wall in
the reference room, approximately 1.5 m from the ground. When hanging the controller
on a wall,
connect it to the boiler using a 2-core eBUS line.
External sensor

● Not fully sheltered from the wind
● Not particularly draughty
● Not in direct sunlight
● Not affected by heat sources
● On a north or north-west facing façade
When fitting the external sensor on
● buildings with up to three floors, it should be located two-thirds of the way up the
façade.
● On buildings with more than three floors, it should be fitted between the second
and third floor.
