Solar flow volume
Auto, 0.1 165.0 l/min
The flow rate of the solar fluid is entered in
l/min under "flow volume". This value corre-
sponds to the setting on the flow volume lim-
iter of the solar pump unit. The PWM signal is
used to determine the volume flow for the
new VMS 70 solar pump unit; "Auto" must be
set.
Solar pump boost
On, Off
The solar pump is switched on for 15 sec-
onds once the collector temperature at the
collector temperature sensor has risen by 2 K
due to solar radiation.
Solar circuit prot.
110 150 °C
If the temperature at the collector tempera-
ture sensor exceeds the adjustable solar
circuit protection temperature, the collector
pump remains switched off.

Basic function
Solar function
The solar function is always active. It is only switched off in the "System off" operating
mode.
The "Collector temperature" and "Cyl. temp.: Bottom" sensors are constantly tested. As
soon as the difference between these two values exceeds the switch-on differential,
the solar pump is switched on. If the difference falls below the switch-off differential,
the solar pump is switched off again.
Solar pump boost: The position of the collector sensor is not ideal for the tube collec-
tor in particular (because it is fitted in the cylinder dry pocket outside the distributor).
