If there is play between the Bearing Depth Gauge, the counter boss, and the dial plate
hub, tap the dial plate hub with a hammer with the Bearing Depth Gauge in place. When
the dial plate hub is flush against the Bearing Depth Gauge, the counter bearing is
adjusted correctly.
4. If there is slight axial play in the shaft, adjust the sprocket sheave on the inside of the
gauge. This shaft must turn with minimal resistance.
