6.2.2 ADJUSTING FLUIDIZATION (AIRFLUID)
Procedure:
1. Swivel the feed unit 1 to the right side.
2. Place an opened powder container (25-30 kg;
55.11-66.14 lb) on the vibrator table.
3. Switch on the control unit..
4. Swivel the feed unit into the powder container
and lower it the surface of the powder. Actuate
the trigger of the spray gun for a short time and
release it. The vibrator motor and the fl uid air
overrun for 10 s (factory setting). This setting can
be changed if required by the user (see opera-
ting manual “EPG Sprint control unit“).
5. Adjust the fl uid air at the throttle 2 to the point
that makes the feed unit sink into the powder by
its own weight.
Hint:
● The amount of fluid air depends on the
characteristics of the powder.
● The powder should be moving in the suction
area of the feed unit (gently simmering).
● Avoid a dust build up in the powder container.
