This setting corresponds to the usual
Wagner high-voltage modules and control
units.
Medium level (blue)
Open-circuit voltage 100 kV
Maximum current 120 µA
For small surfaces.
For well rechargeable types of powder.
For metal powder.
To reduce the effects of overcoating
such as craters and orange peel.
Increasing the open-circuit voltage
allows for a greater distance between
the spray gun and the workpiece while
maintaining sufficient powder charging.
Soft level (black)
Open-circuit voltage 100 kV
Maximum current 80 µA
For very well rechargeable types of
powder.
For small powder application.
For post-coatings.
