Opening the engine cover
Open the engine cover with the handle. The handle is lockable.
1. Unlock engine cover with key.
2. Open the engine cover by pressing button 1.
ð The engine cover is unlocked.
3. Raise the engine cover by pulling the handle.
ð The engine cover is pushed up by gas springs.
Closing the engine cover
1. Hold the engine cover at bar 2 at the lower edge and pull it down-
ward against the pressure of the gas springs.
2. Make the engine cover lock into place by pressing it downward.
ð The engine cover is automatically locked and can only be opened
again with the starting key.
3. Pull on the handle to check whether the engine cover is locked in
place.
4. Lock engine cover with key.

Cab
WARNING
Risk of injury from tilting cab!
If the fastening bolts are not fitted back on again correctly, the cab can tilt
sideways on its own. This may result in accidents that could result in seri-
ous injury or death.
► After tilting the cab back, immediately reattach the fastening screws.
► Do not use the vehicle if the fastening screws are not installed.
NOTICE
The car doors can be damaged when the cab is tilted
If the cab is tilted, the doors may collide with the vehicle frame and be
damaged.
► Close cab doors before the cab is tilted.
