ü Preparations for maintenance in the engine compartment were car-
ried out.

this is done.
2. Pull out oil dipstick.
3. Wipe the oil dipstick with a clean and fiber-free cloth.
4. Insert the oil dipstick into the fill opening for hydraulic oil.
5. Pull out oil dipstick.
6. The fill level must be between the MIN and MAX marks.
7. Reinsert oil dipstick and tighten breather filter.
Breather filter for the hydraulic oil tank
The breather filter ensures the ventilation of the hydraulic oil tank when
the hydraulic oil level varies. The breather filter contains a filter element
that prevents dust and dirt from entering and squirts of oil from escaping.
There is a valve in the breather filter that holds the tank under light pres-
sure. This pressure escapes when the hydraulic oil filler neck is opened.
Replace the breather filter every 1,000 operating hours at the latest!
