Interrupting manual regeneration
Manual regeneration can be interrupted in case of an emergency. Inter-
rupting manual regeneration may cause damage to the diesel particulate
filter.
▪ Hold the switch in position I for at least three seconds.
ð Manual regeneration is interrupted. The control light
goes out
in the display.
ð Manual regeneration is interrupted. Control light
illuminates in
the display.
ð Regeneration is interrupted.

Regeneration at a standstill
This type of regeneration is necessary if the soot load of the diesel partic-
ulate filter has increased so far that the performance of the engine is re-
duced by 30%. The control light
flashes quickly and the control light
lamp
illuminates continuously.
The vehicle may not be moved during a regeneration at a standstill. If this
regeneration is not carried out correctly, the engine power is reduced by
30% and the engine speed is reduced to a maximum of 1200 rpm. In the
display, the control light
flashes quickly and the control light
flashes. The diesel particulate filter must then be replaced by the service
department.
Perform the following steps for a regeneration at a standstill:
1. Park the vehicle into a safe area.
2. Lower the loader unit to the ground.
3. Let the engine run.
4. Apply the parking brake.
ð The drive system is disabled.
5. Switch on the lock for the loader unit.
ð The hydraulically activated functions are disabled.
6. Manually start the regeneration.
ð Press the rocker switch in position II for at least 20 seconds.
7. The vehicle must not move.
8. Wait until the control light
goes out.
ð Regeneration is completed.
ð The vehicle can be operated again.
