b. Place the switch in the OFF position.
c. Measure the voltage between the switch terminals.
A voltage meter shows that 109 to 125V AC is present.

a. Place the applicable circuit breaker in the OFF position.
b. Place the chart light switch in the ON position.
c. Check for continuity across the switch terminals.
Continuity is present.
