Gear pump
Assembling the gear pump
1. Install the drive gear 1 and driven gear
2 and balls 3 into the gear housing 1
4, and then install the gear housing 2 5.
2. Hold the gear pump assembly in a vice
using aluminum plates a on both side.
3. Install the pin 6 as shown.
NOTE:
Press the pins 6 into gear pump assembly to
remains b.(b = approximately 3.5 mm (0.14
in)).
4. Check the gear pump operation.
NOTE:
Inject a small amount fluid to the gear pump
assembly, and then rotate the drive gear in
the direction shown.
5. Install the new O-rings 7, gear pump
assembly 8 with the bolts 9, then tight-
en them to the specified torque.
6. Install the new O-rings, piston 0, main
valves q.

4 N·m (0.4 kgf·m, 3.0 ft·lb)
Main valve q:
11 N·m (1.1 kgf·m, 8.1 ft·lb)
