Assembling the fuel pump
NOTE:
Clean the parts and soak the valves and the
diaphragms in gasoline before assembly.
1. Install the check valves 1 onto the fuel
pump body 2.
2.
Install the new gaskets 3, 4,
diaphragms 5, 6, cover 7 and base 8
to the fuel pump body 9.
NOTE:
9 Make sure that the gaskets 3, 4 and
diaphragms 5, 6 are kept in place through
the assembly process.
9 After assembling, check the fuel pump air
leakage again.
