7. Tighten the tensioner bolts to the speci-
fied torque.
8. Turn the drive sprocket two turns, and
then check that the alignment marks are
aligned.
CAUTION:
Do not turn the sprockets counterclock-
wise, otherwise the valve system may be
damaged.
9. Tighten the driven sprocket bolt
2
to the
specified torque.
10. Tighten the drive sprocket nut
6
to the
specified torque, and then install the
breather hose.
NOTE:
Use a deep socket
A
(M46) for this proce-
dure.
Install the timing belt, and then tighten the
drive sprocket nut
6
so that the drive
sprocket and the driven sprocket do not
move out of the TDC position.
