1. Install:
9Needle valve 3
9Float 1
9Float pin 2
NOTE:
9When setting the float 1 into the carbure-
tor, hock the needle valve 3 into the float
and insert the needle valve seat.
9When installing the float pin 2, tap the
float pin in arrow direction 4 to the pivot
of the pipe joint side 5 as shown.
9After installation, make sure that the float
operates smoothly.
2. Measure:
9Float height a
Out of specification ® Replace.
NOTE:
9Make sure to tilt the carburetor ass’y
clockwise 45° for needle valve with spring
no load, when measuring the float height.
9Take measurement at the side end of the
float, as shown.
Float height:
18.0~19.0 mm (0.71~0.75 in)
