NOTE:
9When removing or installing the impeller,
apply a thin coat of water resistant grease
to the entire surface of the drive shaft.
9Apply the grease to the impeller blades,
insert cartridge inner surface.
9Be sure to turn the drive shaft clockwise,
otherwise the impeller blade will be twist-
ed the other way. thus reducing pump
performance.
1. Install:
9Dowel pin 1 (drive shaft)
9Impeller 2
9Water pump housing 3 with insert
cartridge 4
9Plate 5
9Bolt 6
Impeller and insert cartridge inspection
1. Inspect:
9Impeller
9Insert cartridge
Crack/Distortion/Burning/Damage
® Replace.
