tester lead wires and high-tension cord.

2. Disconnect:
9Ignitor ass’y lead (W)
3. Measure:
9Ignitor ass’y output peak voltage

2. Measure:

Out of specification ® Replace.
Measuring steps:
8 Connect the pocket tester (½x1) to the
ignitor ass’y lead.
Primary:
Tester (+) lead ® White lead
Tester (-) lead ®
Black lead
Ignitor ass’y coil resistance:
Primary coil: 0.56 ~ 0.84 ½
