Engine oil replacement
1. Remove:
9Oil level plug
9Drain plug with washer 2
9Gasket 1
2. Install:
9Gasket 1
9Drain plug with washer 2
3. Fill:
9Engine oil
(into the crankcase)
Drain plug:
20 Nm (2.0 m•kg, 14.4 ft•lb)
Recommended engine oil:
API: SE, SF, SE-SF, SE-SF-CC
or SG-CD
SAE: 10W-30 or 10W-40
Total quantity:
500 cm

(16.9 US oz, 17.6 Imp oz)
4. Install:
9Oil level plug
5. Check:
9Engine oil level
Refer to “Engine oil level“.
2. Check:
9Engine oil level
Between a and b ® Proper quantity.
Above a ® Check for over filling or
for water in the engine oil.
Below b ® Add engine oil up to level
a and check for oil leakage.
NOTE:
9Run the engine for several minutes, turn
it off, and check the engine oil level
again.
9If the engine oils still not with in the prop-
er level, add/drain as needed.
