Install:
• Intake valve lifter “1”
• Exhaust valve lifter “2”
2.
Install:
• Balancer shaft “1”
3.
Install:
• Camshaft “2”
CHECKING THE CRANKCASE COVER
1.
Check:
• Crankcase cover
Damage  Replace.
• Bearing
Noise/wear/rotational failure  Replace.

Be sure to align the balancer shaft “1” gear mark “a”
with the crankshaft gear mark “b”.
Be sure to align the camshaft “2” gear mark “c” with
the crankshaft gear mark “d”.
