Install:
• Starter handle
• Drive plate screw “1”
TIP
To set the spring preload, hook the starter rope into the
sheave drum slot “a” and turn the sheave drum assembly
counterclockwise four times, and then unhook the starter
rope from the slot.
6.
Check:
• Starter handle
TIP
Pull the starter handle several times to check that the
sheave drum turns smoothly and to check the starter rope
for slack. Repeat steps 1–5 if necessary.
