To check tank status:
1. Tap the STATUS button on the Main Menu (or any other screen).

2. On the Machine Status screen that appears, tap the Page 2 tab (bottom of the
screen).
3. Check the tank status on Page 2 (Figure 2.11).
NOTENOTE
If you are using an external supply tank and the supply tank level (low) indicator is lit, you must fill
the internal supply tank to at least half-full. See Checking the external supply and waste tanks,
page 141.
4. Tap the EXIT button to return to the previous screen.
Performing pin priming
(optional)
In some cases, it may be necessary to "prime" the pins prior to dispensing. Priming the
pins wets the surface of the pins to enable better pickup of analyte solution during
dispensation. Pin priming is usually not required, but may improve spotting performance
in low relative humidity (rH) environments.
