Chapter 2 Dispensing to SpectroCHIP Arrays 33
USG-CUS-059 Rev05MassARRAY® Nanodispenser RS1000 v2.1 User Guide
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
The method files included in the list depend on the pin array format. For example, only
6-pin method files will be available for an instrument with a 6-pin array.
5. Tap open to load the file.
The Method screen appears and displays the selected method (Figure 2.16).
Table 2.4 Predefined Methods
*The pin array format that is required by each method. The standard format is 24-pin.
Instrument upgrade kits are available for converting a 6-pin model to a 24-pin model.
See Appendix A, page 117 for more information.
NOTENOTE
A 6-pin or 24-pin instrument can be adapted to a 1-pin format using an appropriate adapter kit. See
Appendix A, page 117 for more details on adapting the pin format. The 1-pin format is for use with
custom dispensing patterns. There are no predefined methods for 1-pin dispensing. See Chapter
3, page 63 for more details on creating custom methods.
