C.2 Setting up an external supply tank
See Table C.1 for external supply tank requirements.
NOTE
It is strongly recommended that you label the supply tank “Supply – Type 1, >18.2 MΩ water only”.
1. Insert the open end of the supply tubing (5/16" OD) into the instrument Supply port
(Figure C.1).
The open end of the tubing is the end without the weight and filter (Figure C.2).
WARNING

WARNING! Be sure to insert the tubing into the Supply port, not the Vac Waste or Waste port.
2. Push the end of the tubing firmly into the port until it is fully seated (approximately ¾"
into the port).
