4. Seal the reaction plate and centrifuge for 5 minutes at 1000 x g to make sure resin
settles at the bottom of the wells.
5. Rotate the reaction plate for at least 15 minutes, at 24 RPMs. The rotator must rotate
the microplate in a fashion that inverts the sample.
6. Centrifuge the reaction plate at 3200 x g for 5 minutes.
7. To conserve resin, seal the trough from the atmosphere with a plate seal and
occasionally add water as needed to keep resin completely submerged, and store at
room temperature.
STOPPING POINT
If not proceeding directly to the next step, the reaction plate should be sealed, and stored at 4°C
(if storing for less than 24 hours), or at -20
°C (if storing for more than 24 hours). Do not store for
more than 2 weeks.
2.3 Instrument start up and shut down
Starting the instrument 1. Push the power switch ON (—).
NOTENOTE
The startup process takes approximately three minutes. The touchscreen displays start-up
messages from the integrated computer. Windows will start and then the Login screen appears.
Wait until the Login screen appears.
Logging in Log in is required when the instrument is powered on.
