3. Set the time for the cleaning steps:
a. To change a value, tap it and enter a new value in the number pad that appears.
b. Tap enter.

WARNING! Do not set the wash time longer than 10 seconds. Longer times can damage the
ultrasonic wash.
Specify the aspirate and dispense settings
1. Tap the aspirate/dispense tab of the Method screen (Figure 3.17).
2. Choose the type of dispensing operation:
analyte only – Dispenses only analyte from microtiter plates to SpectroCHIP Arrays.
calibrant only – Dispenses only calibrant from the calibrant reservoir to the calibrant
pads on the SpectroCHIP Arrays.
analyte and calibrant – Dispenses both analyte and calibrant to the SpectroCHIP
Arrays.
