1. Ensure that the Enable box under Auto Tuning is checked (see Figure 2.21).
2. Enter the Target Volume in nL.
• For iPLEX and MassCLEAVE analyte, enter 12.
• For UltraSEEK analyte, enter 25.
3. Ensure that the Enable box under Volume Check is enabled.
4. Enter an upper and lower limit for dispense volume.
• For iPLEX and MassCLEAVE analyte, enter 8-20.
• For UltraSEEK analyte, enter 10-35.
NOTENOTE
Volume check must be enabled in order for auto tuning to function, and the mapping file must
include pads designated as tuning pads.
If a SpectroCHIP Array has been dispensed with auto tuning enabled, a record will be
kept of the dispense volume for each pad on the SpectroCHIP Array. See page 56 for
instructions on accessing this information for previously dispensed SpectroCHIP Arrays.
