Metering Home Failed
Metering Home Failed
The metering plunger has failed to move back to the home position.
The home position sensor on the sampling unit flex board monitors the home
position of the plunger. If the plunger fails to move to the home position, or if
the sensor fails to recognize the plunger position, the error message is
generated.
Probable Causes • Dirty or defective sensor.
• Broken plunger.
• Defective metering-drive motor.
• Defective ASM board.
Suggested Actions ❏ Exchange the sampling unit flex board.
❏ Exchange the metering plunger and seal.
❏ Exchange the metering-drive motor.
❏ Exchange the ASM board.
