Lubrication Procedures
Maintenance Schedule
It is recommended that the following parts be checked and lubricated
monthly:
• Press: Ballscrew and Ballscrew Nut
• Press: Linear Shafts
• Press: Runner Blocks
• Zone 1 Conveyor: Leadscrew and Spline Shaft
• Zone 1 Conveyor: Bevel Gears and Chain
• Zone 2 Conveyor: Runner Blocks
• Drawer: Guide Shafts
• Testhead: Spur Gears
Tools and Supplies
• Brush for greasing parts such as the leadscrews, shafts, and chains.
• Grease gun with circular adapter head and tapered adapter head for
the ballscrew nut and runner block respectively. Fit the adapter head
into the nipple head of the part to be lubricated.
