The MicroLogix 1400 will check every 2 minutes for a duplicate IP address on
the network.
Configuring the Ethernet
Channel on the
MicroLogix 1400
There are three ways to configure the MicroLogix 1400 Ethernet channel 1.
• via a BOOTP or DHCP request at controller powerup
• manually setting the configuration parameters using RSLogix
500/RSLogix Micro Programming Software
• via LCD display (see Configuring the Ethernet Port on page 126 and
Configuring Ethernet Protocol Setup on page 128)
The configuration parameters are shown on the following page, and the
configuration procedures follow.
