3. Unpacking and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Inspect the unit for any possible shipping damage immediately upon receipt. If
damage is evident, notify the carrier. DO NOT return an instrument to the
factory without prior approval. Do not destroy the packing container until the
unit has been inspected for damage in shipment. If possible, retain the
container (wooden crate) in the event the system ever must be returned to the
factory for either repair or upgrades
WARNING: Each power source chassis weighs approximately 875 lbs (397
Kg) to 1150 lbs (522 Kg), depending on model. Obtain
adequate help when moving the unit. Make sure the location
(floor) in which the MX Series unit(s) will be installed can
support the weight of the unit(s).
