Pocket Dock-it (optional accessory)
The Pocket Dock-it is a handy-sized electronic address book and calculator that can be
purchased for use with the
e-m@iler. When plugged into the e-m@iler, the names,
phone numbers and email addresses can be transferred* to the Pocket Dock-it
enabling you to take them out and about with you. Additionally, when you're on the
move, you can use the Pocket Dock-it to take down new names, numbers and email
addresses for later transfer back to the e-m@iler.
In addition to the above features, the Pocket Dock-it also protects against the
accidental deletion of Address Book entries on the
e-m@iler – in such circumstances
you can simply transfer* the data back to the
e-m@iler from the Pocket Dock-it
(information on page 121). What's more, if your
e-m@iler ever needs to be replaced by
another unit, you can use the Pocket Dock-it to transfer* your existing Address Book
entries to the replacement
e-m@iler.
You can purchase a Pocket Dock-it from the SERVICES menu – look under
ONLINE LINKS / AMSERVE LINKS.
Note, if you have an older model e-m@iler or e-m@iler
plus
, you can use the Pocket Dock-
it to transfer* its Address Book entries to the
E3 e-m@iler (see page 121 for
instructions). However, you cannot transfer the setup data from the
e-m@iler or
e-m@iler
plus
to the E3 e-m@iler, or vice versa.
*Postal addresses and ringtone groups are not transferred.
