& You can pick up the handset before you press REDIAL / P if you wish.
Privacy
You can prevent the caller from hearing you, for example when you
wish to talk privately with someone in the room.
For privacy during a call, press MUTE. (Press again to cancel.)
When mute is on,
will appear at the left of the display. (Note you can still hear the
caller during mute.)
Recall
The RECALL button gives access to special services such as call
transfer, diversion, conferencing, etc.
If you subscribe to a Call Waiting service (which allows you to receive additional
calls while you're already on the phone), use the RECALL button to switch
between calls. See also ‘Call Waiting’ below and ‘Telephone service settings' on
page 126.
Call Waiting
If you subscribe to Call Waiting, you will hear a beep every few seconds whenever
there is a call waiting. If this happen during a video call (described in the next chapter),
then the video connection will stop and you will be returned to a normal voice call. After
a few seconds you will hear a Call Waiting beep – you may then take the waiting call
by using the RECALL button (see above).
If you wish to prevent any video call you make being interrupted by Call Waiting, then
before making the call, dial #43# to disable the service. After the call you can dial
43# to re-enable the service.
