1. The Wake up screen shows my current basal rate delivery but doesn’t show which Basal
Program is active. How do I find this information?
From the Wake up screen, use the Up/Down arrows to highlight Status and press OK.
Status Screen 1 shows the name of the active basal program.
2. When I go to Status Screen 2, there is an IOB (Insulin on Board) amount shown but I
don’t use this feature.
The pump tracks IOB constantly and will show the amount on the Status Screen 2, even if
you don’t have the IOB feature turned on.
3. The Audio Bolus feature isn’t working. When I press the Audio bolus button, the
Normal Bolus screen appears.
You must first turn on the Audio Bolus feature in Setup Advanced. If Audio Bolus is not
turned on, this button is a short cut to the Normal Bolus screen.
4. I can’t get the cartridge to go in all the way.
When loading a cartridge, you must first rewind the pump’s piston rod and then load the
cartridge. See Chapter 5, Getting Your Pump Ready.
5. I have a Temp Basal running but stopped exercising early. How do I stop the Temp
Basal?
From the Basal Menu, select Temp. The Temp Basal details are shown. Scroll to Cancel and
press OK.
6. How do I find out how much insulin has been delivered in a currently active Combo
Bolus?
From the Bolus Menu, select Combo. The current details of the Combo Bolus are displayed.
7. I’d like to use the ezCarb feature but I don’t know what my Insulin to Carb ratios are for
different times of day.

8. How do I know if my ezManager software is compatible with the model pump I have?
When you install ezManager software, go to the Communication or Download feature.
Check the drop-down box for pump models. If your pump model is not listed, please call
Customer Support at 1-877-767-7373. Outside the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, contact
your local Animas distributor.
