The signal is also available in the host application connector:

The Port Link signals are always available in the host application connector in all operating
modes except 16 bit parallel. For more information consult the Anybus CompactCom M40 Hard-
ware Design Guide (module) or the Anybus CompactCom B40-1 Design Guide (brick).
When Transparent Ethernet is activated, the LED status signals are only available in the LED
status register.

There is no LED on the front of the Anybus CompactCom 40 PROFINET IRT showing this indi-
cation, but the signal is available in the host application connector according to this table:
