Lift out the sample stage:
• Lift the sample stage out of the cell
body.
• If you encounter resistance, you may
need to further loosen the sample stage
clamping screw (see
Step 1 on
page 166
).
7. Store the sample stage / cell body combination it its proper storage container. See ?? on page ??.
13.4.4. Mount the New Stage/Cell Combination

Check the membrane shape:
• Make sure the rubber membrane on the
sample stage is properly formed as
shown in the photo.
• If necessary, see
Step 7 on page 163 on
how do form the membrane.
2.
Check for O-rings:
• The cell body on the left has the O-ring missing.
• The cell body on the right has a properly seated O-ring.
