4-pair station cable circuits
To determine the size of station cables containing 4-pair circuits, find out how many information outlets
are served by the equipment room MDF or satellite location MDF. Multiply the number of information
outlets by 4. Then, using the minimum size cable requirement, round up the cable size requirement to the
next highest available cable bundle size.
NOTE:
This formula may not compensate for the unused 25th pair in all cases. If not, it must be
allowed for.
