248 Installing the Avaya S8700 Media Server with an Avaya G650 Media Gateway

2 In the ARS Prefix 1 Required for 10-Digit NANP Calls? field, type y.
3 Type the information in the various fields for each media gateway.
NOTE:
In the Name field for location 1, call the media gateway (cabinet) Main.
4 Press Enter to effect the changes.
Verifying date and time
1 Type display time and press Enter.
2 Verify that the date and time are correct.
3 Verify that the correct rule (number) is displayed in the Daylight Savings Rule field.
4 If correct, press Cancel.
5 If not, go to the Maintenance Web Interface.
6 Under Server, click Set Server Time/Timezone.
7 Verify that the date and time are correct. If not, set it here.
8 Repeat steps 1 through 3.
Viewing alarms
1 Click Current Alarms to clear any alarms
2 Resolve all alarms not involving the busied out standby server. See the appropriate maintenance
documentation for information on how to resolve alarms.
