Verifying media server connection to the
customer’s LAN (if provided)
1 Connect a customer-supplied CAT5 straight-through cable from media server 1 to the customer’s
network. See Getting Started with the Avaya S8700 Media Server with the Avaya G650 Media
Gateway.
S8700 IP: Connect to port 1 (Eth0)
S8700 MC: Connect to port 4 (Eth3)
