Installing the Avaya™ S8700 Media Server with Avaya™ MCC1 or SCC1 Media Gateway
Customize the Active Media Server

2 Fill in the appropriate carrier types for each media gateway.
Administer and enable the IP Server Interface
NOTE:
Do this procedure only if the translations were not input earlier.
The following administration uses the services laptop computer connected to the active media
server and uses a terminal emulation application.
NOTE:
This procedure enables the IPSI circuit packs and allows them to control the port
networks.
1 Type change system-parameters ipserver-interface and press Enter.
2 Verify that the Primary and Secondary Subnet Addresses are correct.
