Connect Avaya SCC1 media gateway IPSI and
maintenance circuit pack ribbon cables
1 Remove the ground plate, upper and lower rear covers from the SCC1 media gateway(s).
Refer to ‘‘Removal of ground plate’’ on page 194
.
Removal of ground plate
2 Unseat the TN2312AP and TN775D circuit packs in the SCC1 media gateway A. For
high/critical reliability configurations unseat the TN2312AP circuit pack in SCC1 media
gateway B.
3 With the red line on the bottom (pin 1), attach one end of the short ribbon cable to the
connector on the component side of the TN2312AP IPSI circuit pack.
