To start the automatic discovery service:
Enter the following command:
wsman invoke http://sblim.sf.net/wbem/wscim/1/cim-schema/2/AvctMP_
DiscoveryService?SystemCreationClassName="AvctMP_
ComputerSystem",SystemName="MergePoint5300",CreationClassName="AvctMP_
DiscoveryService",Name="OEM Avocent Discovery Service" -h <appliance_
IPaddress> -u <username> -p <password> -y basic -a start
To stop the automatic discovery service:
Enter the following command:
wsman invoke http://sblim.sf.net/wbem/wscim/1/cim-schema/2/AvctMP_
DiscoveryService?SystemCreationClassName="AvctMP_
ComputerSystem",SystemName="MergePoint5300",CreationClassName="AvctMP_

To list all available discovery search ranges:
Enter the following command:

To get discovery search range #1:
Enter the following command:
