Parameter Description

CEPT_EULA
This parameter sh ows that the installer accepts the EU LA text as is. This parameters m ust be set to Y ES
in order to continue to the installation.
INSTALLDIR This parameter specifies the installation directory for ClickShare launcher. If not specified, the de fault folder
will be the Program Files folder.
LAUNCH_APP The ClickShare launcher application will be started right after the installation finishes if this parameter is set to
YES. Otherwise, the launcher application will not be started.
/qn
This param eter indicates that the installation will be done in silent mode, meaning that there will be no visible
windows during the installation.
Following c omm and line can be use d to uninstall the ClickShare launcher in silent mode :
msiexec.exe /x ClickShare_Launcher_01_06_00_0144_Setup_Win.msi /qn
5.4 ClickShare for Linux
About
The ClickShare Client for Linux consists of two m ain parts. The first part is the Client itself. The second part is the ClickShare-
Launcher. The launc her is installed as a background application that will s tart the Client from the moment a button is inserted.
The downloaded installer will install both binaries.
Compatibility
ClickShare for Linux is officially supported for Ubuntu 14.04 and Fedora 20 (32 bit and 64 bit version is s upported). Other distributions
and versions may work depending on library v ersions.
The user needs administrator rights to run ClickShare. On Ubuntu, the user should be added to the “plugdev” group. On Fedora,
the user should be ad ded to the “ wheel” gr oup.
Ubuntu installation
Search the downloaded . deb file and start the installation. Follow the instructions as requested by the installer in t he below screens.
