The touch panel interface can be m ounted upon a swivel arm whic h easily ts on top of the DP 2K-12C/11CX projector. One central
locking mechanism of the swivel arm allows an instant xation of the t ouch panel interface in any position.
The touch panel interface can also be installed further away from the DP2K-12C/11CX projector. For that you can use a serial
(RS232) cable up to 1 0 m eter or an Ethernet cable up to 50 meter to realize a dire ct data communication between the DP2K -
12C/11CX projector and the Communicator Touch Panel.
The touch panel interface can also be connected with a Local A rea Network (LAN) just like the D P2K -12C/11CX projector. In this
case both devices can communicate with each other as we
ll.
The touch panel interface require s a voltage s upply +12 VDC a nd 1,5 ampere. Note that the DP2K-12C/11CX projector has a 12
VDC output which c an be used to power up the touch panel interface. Nevertheless, the use o f a separate +12 VDC adaptor (1,5
ampere minim um) is required in case the touch panel interface is installed more then a few meters away from the DP2K-12C/11CX
projector.
A crossed DC cable has to be used when connecting the +12 VDC output from the Input & Communication
unit o f the DP2K- 12C/11CX projector directly w ith the Touch Panel interface.
