19.2 Troubleshooting
Lamp fails to ignite after y ou switched the proje ctor from standby to operation
Situation Solution
You can hea r the SPG modu le three times clicking in an attempt to ignite
the lamp. T he v oltage on the “LA MP OUT” pins of the L PS module is
first 140 volt during the attempt to ignite and then drops to 0 volt.
Note: The ambient noise must be low to hear the SP G clicking in an
attempt to ignite the lamp.
• The LPS and SP G seem to work normally but
the lamp is bad. Install another lam p house.
• If the problem remains, replace the SPG
module.
You can not hear the SPG module three times clicking in an attempt to
ignite the lamp. The voltage on the “LAMP O UT ” pins of the L PS mod ule
is first 140 volt during the attempt to ignite and then drops to 0 volt.

• Check the c abling of the SPG mo dule.
• Replace the SPG module.

is below 140 vo lt during the attempt to ignite. The diagnostic LED ’s of
the LP S module indicates a problem w ith the LP S module.
Note: The ambient noise must be low to hear the SP G clicking in an
attempt to ignite the lamp.
• Check the c abling of the LPS module.
• Replace the LP S module.
