11.12 Replacement of the Inner Dust Rubber
This procedure assumes that the Lens Ho lder is remo ved from the p rojector.
CAUTION: Be careful as not to damage the new inner dust rubber while executing this procedure.
Necessary tools
• 13 mm nut driver or o pen-end wrench
• 5.5 m m nut driver or box-end wrench
• PH1 Phillips screwdr iver
Necessary parts
• Lens holder cover
• Dust rubber frame
• Inner dust rubber
• 6 M3 hex nuts
How to replace the Inner Dust Rubber
1. Remove the front plate from the Lens Holder. Use a 13 mm nut driver to loosen the four big nuts (reference 2 image 11-37) as
illustrated. Turn the front plate away to see the Lens Holder cover.
Caution: Do not loose the three large springs of the Scheimpflug adjustment mechanism.

2. Remove the Lens Holder cover. Use a PH1 Ph illips screwdriver to loosen the seven screws (reference 3 imag e 11-38) as illus-
trated. By doing this, you will also release the ground cable (reference 4).
