3. Use a 5.5 mm nut driver to loosen the six nuts on the dust rubb
er (reference 5 image 11-39). Rem ove the nuts, the inner dust
rubber frame (reference 6) a nd the old rub ber (reference 7).

4. Place the new inner dust rubber (reference 7 image 11-39) over the pins of the new cover. Carefully place the new dust rubber
frame (reference 6) of the dust seal over the top of the rubber an d over the pins of the new cover. Then use a 5.5 mm nut driver
to tighten the dust rubber and dus t rubber frame with the six nuts (reference 5).
5. Install the ne w Lens Holder Cover. Use a PH1 Phillips s crewdriver to tighten the seven original screws (reference 3 image 11-38).
Make sure you tighten the earth wire (reference 4) back to its original place. B e careful a s not to dam age the rubber while doing
these actions.
6. Carefully r einstall the front plate onto the Lens Ho lder. Help the rubber through the L ens Holder onto the other side.
