9. MX08 PB PROFIBUS DP GATEWAY
MX08 PB gateway instrument integrates up to 8 pcs Analog Digitizer device and up to 8
pcs Input / Output device to Profibus field bus. MX08 PB instrument communicates with
other MX08 instruments via internal data bus N-Bus and responses to the PLC very fast
via Profibus.
MX08 PB instrument GSD file is available in CD which is supplied together with the
instrument.
9.1. Front View
There are 3 annunciater LEDs on front panel to show the instrument status in operation.
The programming switch on front panel of the instrument is used for N-Bus addressing
without PC (refer to Section 3.9) and for diagnostic tests (refer to Section 8.7).
The status of the instrument is announced by different lights (refer to Table 8.1).
When error LED lightened, other two LED announces the error type. Please refer to
Section 8.6 for detailed error descriptions.
Power and serial interface terminals are located at the front of the DIN rail mount
instrument as seen in Figure 8.1.
