6.2 Software Functions and System Configuration
56
o Digital input 2
Define the configuration of digital input 2 (terminal 20a and 20c).
Up to three different functions can be assigned to the input.
- External tare
An external tare measurement is performed. The elapsed tare time
is dependent on the tare measuring time entered.
- Print start
When the contacts are closed, the measured values are printed
out.
- Ext. product 3+4
Digital input 2 can also be used to expand the external product se-
lection. In this case, the different products can be selected as
shown in the table below:
Menu Dig. input 2 Dig. input 3
1 0 0
2 0 1
3 1 0
4 1 1
1 = closed contact
0 = open contact

- Start/Stop and print
If the contact closed, a tare measurement is carried out first. Then
the measurement automatically changes over to the measurement
mode. The measurement mode is interrupted as soon as the con-
tact is opened. After the measurement, a printout is created auto-
matically, including date, time and measured tonnage.
Digital output relay 3
Define the configuration of digital output 3 (terminal 14a and 14c).
Up to three different functions can be assigned to the input.
- Batch Ready
(Only with setting Batch mode at digital input 1)
When the defaulted tonnage is reached, a relay signal is output at
relay 3.
- Min / Max
Signals exceeding or falling below a load limit value. Enter the
lower or upper threshold in t/h or kg/h. An open contact signals
that the threshold is exceeded or not reached.
- Tare measurement
Signals the end of a tare measurement. The contact is closed dur-
ing tare measurement.
