Problem Cause Action
1. Display does not operate −−Turn circuit breaker on
− Check CX/CXP cable and connections
− Replace keypad/display
− Replace power logic board
2. Erratic temperature display −−Perform a factory memory reset
− Check temperature sensor, cable and
connection
− Ensure the temperature sensor is installed
properly
− Calibrate temperature
− Replace power logic board
3. Erratic system operation −−Perform a factory memory reset
− Check CX/CXP cable and connections
− Check temperature sensor, cable and
connection
− Replace keypad/display
− Replace power logic board
4. The unit will not operate at all − Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker
− Low voltage to unit
− Replace fuse with time delay type or reset
breaker. Check for correct sizing
− Check shore power supply and rating of
electrical power cord to boat
