Each BCS-8xx module has 8 channels. Additionally for the BCS-810 and BCS-815, 8 tem-
perature probes (K-type thermocouple) are available in standard. For the BCS-805, no tem-
perature probe is available. The instrument has its own operating system included in the
BCS-COM communication module. Once started, the on-board computer fully controls the
experiment. It is designed to function as a multi-user instrument (several users connected to
the same instrument). Many computers can be connected to the instrument through an
Ethernet connection. The instrument is controlled by BT-Lab
software.
